April is a career sales and business development professional, and in her current role, she focuses on serving law firms of all sizes in addition to some of our largest and most complex clients. She leads teams of Executive Directors of Sales and Key Account Directors who focus on meeting the needs of those clients, and is building a structure to ensure our client relationships grow strategically.
As a professional and team member, April has a fierce competitive drive – she tells people, straightforwardly, that she hates coming in second. She believes in leading by example, and will not ask her team to do anything she won’t do herself, working right next to them. She gets her greatest professional satisfaction from seeing her direct reports advance professionally.
April sees technology as a force multiplier for U.S. Legal Support’s most valuable asset – its people. With technology, she seeks to create efficiencies that will help support both internal and external clients.
Most recently, April served as the Division President of National Accounts, where she was responsible for revenues, operations, strategic planning, budgeting and client service across major corporations, insurance companies and law firms operating in multiple locations. With a focus on operational efficiencies, cost containment and security, April worked with her National Account Executives to develop programs specifically to meet the business objectives of clients. She joined U.S. Legal Support as a Director of Business Development in Central Florida. Beginning with a very small team and a handful of reporters, she expanded revenue dramatically and was promoted to the Southeast Division Director of Sales and then Southeast Division President in 2017.
Prior to joining U.S. Legal Support, she worked in strategic business development and sales at several medical device companies, most notably Depuy Spine (a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson), Biomet Trauma and RS Medical. In these positions, she was responsible for sales and marketing for medical implants and managed logistics for multiple salespeople. During this phase of her career, she attended over 400 surgical procedures.
With a passion for giving back and connecting with her community, April partners with local and national organizations in support of variety of important causes. Helping the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in their mission to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, April raises critical funds to help support patients and their families. In 2021, in conjunction with the annual Man and Woman of the Year campaign, she was named Palm beach Woman of the Year.
